Vi har nylig hatt to webinarer, og vi har planlagt flere! La oss fortelle om dem, og flere som er planlagt!

Webinar om behandlingsprotokoll for bruk av M365 i skolen 

Dette webinaret var organisert som et arbeidsmøte hvor Tromsø kommune satte seg ned sammen med oss, og så prøvde vi å gjøre om behandlingsprotokollen for Google Workspace for Education til å gjelde for Microsoft365.

Tromsø bruker nemlig M365, ikke Google Workspace for Education i skolen. Men det vi så etter å ha satt oss ned, var at mye er likt. 

Det er ting du må tilpasse, men egentlig kan du ta utgangspunkt i behandlingsprotokollen for Google Workspace for Education, og bruke den på alle de behandlingene av personopplysninger som du som skoleeier behandler om elever, lærere og andre ansatte i skolen. 

En annen ting som var fint å se var hvor mye som Tromsø kommune har på plass allerede!

Webinar om konfigurering av Google Workspace for Education
Dette webinaret ble gjennomført 17.10.24. Ullensvang kommune hadde lyst til å diskutere konfigureringen i Google Workspace for Education. 

Vi var så heldig at to av prosjektdeltakerne som har jobbet mest med konfigurering av løsningen i egen kommune (Trondheim og Narvik), kom for å rådgi. Vi snakket om hvilke muligheter som finnes i løsningen, om hvordan sette en god OU-struktur (OU = «Organisation Units») og fordeler og ulemper ved de løsningene som de ulike kommunene har valgt. 

Hvis det er én ting vi ønsker at du som så på skal sitte igjen med, er det at det ikke finnes en fasit på dette som passer for alle. Tilpasninger for den enkelte kommune er ikke bare greit, men også nødvendig for å svare til behovene.

Webinar om forvaltning av Google Workspace for Education
Kristiansand kommune har bedt om veiledning om hvordan de kan organisere seg for å forvalte Google Workspace for Education. 

Temaet handler handler om endringshåndtering – hvordan sørge for at de endringene som kommer blir fanget opp og vurdert, men også om hva kommunen kan gjøre for å ivareta det forvaltningsansvaret det innebærer å ha en løsning som Google Workspace for Education. Dette forvaltningsansvaret vet vi at flere skoleeiere kjenner på. 

Dette blir et webinar hvor kommune veileder kommune. Nærmere bestemt kommer Bergen og Stavanger kommune til å rådgi om hva som kan være lurt. 

Og så mistenker vi at også dette webinaret ikke vil være en fasit, men en samtale mellom tre allerede veldig kompetente kommuner som fordeler og ulemper ved organiseringen av forvaltningsansvaret.

Webinar on Record of Processing and Configuring Google Workspace for Education

Webinar on Record of Processing for M365 in Schools 
This webinar was organized as a working meeting where Tromsø Municipality sat down with us, and we tried to adapt the record of processing for Google Workspace for Education to apply to Microsoft 365. 

Tromsø uses M365, not Google Workspace for Education in schools. But what we saw after sitting down was that much is similar. 

There are things you need to adapt, but actually, you can start with the record of processing for Google Workspace for Education, and use it for all the processing of personal data that you as a school owner handle about students, teachers, and other staff in the school. 

Another nice thing to see was how much Tromsø Municipality already had in place!

Webinar on Configuring Google Workspace for Education 
This webinar was conducted on October 17, 2024. Ullensvang Municipality wanted to discuss the configuration of Google Workspace for Education. 

We were fortunate that two of the project participants who have worked the most with configuring the solution in their own municipalities (Trondheim and Narvik), came to advise. We discussed the possibilities in the solution, how to set a good OU structure (OU = "Organisation Units"), and the advantages and disadvantages of the solutions that the different municipalities have chosen. 

If there's one thing we want you, the viewer, to take away, it's that there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. Customizations for each municipality are not only fine but also necessary to meet the needs.

Webinar on Managing Google Workspace for Education 
Kristiansand Municipality has requested guidance on how they can organize themselves to manage Google Workspace for Education. 

The topic deals with change management – how to ensure that the changes that come are caught and assessed, but also what the municipality can do to maintain the management responsibility that comes with having a solution like Google Workspace for Education. We know that several school owners feel this management responsibility. 

This will be a webinar where one municipality advises another. Specifically, Bergen and Stavanger municipalities will advise on what might be wise. 

And we suspect that this webinar will also not be a definitive guide but a conversation between three already very competent municipalities about the pros and cons of organizing management responsibility.
